The whole team at Alfred Hymas Ltd has been nominated as HGV heroes for all of their efforts during the pandemic. The team has pulled together, embraced new rules, guidance, and cooperated with everything that has been asked of them. There has been a real team effort, employees have volunteered for furlough leave, worked from home, changed working patterns for childcare purposes, chose to take unpaid leave instead of being furloughed and have taken holidays to keep the business going.
Everyone has tried to remain positive in these very uncertain times. Animal feed, beans, bread-making wheat, barley and soya have been delivered on time and drivers and fitters have diversified to other roles when required. Some of the team have also chosen to work despite being in the extremely vulnerable category – wanting to do their bit. What a team of superstars!
